In this video I walk you to the Forest Talker Cache just behind the Maintenance Yard in the The Long Dark Story Mode. He had attempted to find the treasure, but was frightened away by the spirits of the dark forest. The details of the location of this scroll were all but lost till rumors began of a pirate Nordman who in a drunken stupor one night bragged of knowing of the location of the fabled map. Beware, as legend has it that the treasure is protected by the spirits of the dark forest! Avast, tales be told of a treasure map, hidden by the desperate pirate. The treasure-carrying ship was disabled and ran aground on the treacherous rocks of the cove, and the desperate pirate headed deep into the frightful forest to hide his treasure.
Legend has it that a battle broke out between two pirate ships over a load of treasure that one was carrying. Tales are told of a long-lost treasure located somewhere northwest of the shores of the Creepy Cove, renamed Tule Bay by some mariners.
